Internet Explorer Update Stops Web Sites Working
If your web site contains activeX controls any
visitors using the latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer
will need to active the control before they can use it.
This may not seem such a big deal as the activeX control can be
activated simply by clicking on it but this could get annoying to
your visitors driving them away from your web site.
If you use audio or video on your web site visitors will need to
click twice to play the audio or video but even worse if you use
flash for your navigation or menu system visitors will now need to
click once to activate the control and once to select a menu option.
They will need to do this each time they wish to view another page!
Don't panic, there is a simple fix to this problem. Josh Anderson
(the creator of Total Web Audio) has created Fast Object Fix. Simply
copy your code from your web site into the fixer, click a button and
copy the new code back to your web site.
